How to Secure your Bike

Whether you are in town or in the countryside always choose a suitable place to lock your bike to. Pay attention to the area safety recommendations. Do not leave your bike unattended for too long.

There are many ways to lock your bike and accessories using the U lock. Where possible lock one of the wheels and bike frame to a bike hoop and use cable to secure the other wheel and accessories.

How to Maintain your U Lock

We recommend the U Lock to be cleaned and lubricated once a month for a long lasting life. In addition to this we recommend to clean after use when exposing to extreme conditions like salty water and mud.

1 - Clean the above listed parts with a rag and degreaser spray like WD40.

2 - We recommend applying a few drops of wax based lubricant with added Teflon to

the cylinder, deadbolts and D shackle ends. Insert the key and turn it 5 to 10 times to

distribute lubricant.
