‘Postcards From The Deans’ is a series of local miniature landscapes from Rottingdean, Saltdean, Woodingdean, Ovingdean and Roedean in East Sussex.
‘'Beacon Mill” is a grade II listed smock mill built in 1802. Whilst being built, the body of an ancient warrior was uncovered, and whose sword was subsequently stolen whilst the labourers had lunch. It stopped grinding in 1881, and survived demolition to be repaired in 1905, 1935, 1969 and 1974.
